Camp FAQ’s

Q. What should my child bring with them to camp?

A. Your child should bring the following:
• proper attire (leotard or shorts/T-shirt)
• bathing suit & towel
• nut-free snacks (for morning and afternoon) and a nut-free lunch
• LOTS OF WATER (this is very important as we do not have a water fountain at the gym, and our tap water is not drinkable)
• sunscreen

Q. What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

A. For full day campers, morning drop off is from 8:30am – 9:00am, and afternoon pick up is from 4:00pm – 4:30pm. Half day campers are to be picked up at 11:30am. These time frames are strictly enforced, and you will be charged Before and/or After Care if your child is not picked up at the appropriate time.

Q. Where do you go swimming, and how do I know my child is safe at the pool?

A. We take our campers swimming at the South London Community Pool (Whale Pool) located at 585 Bradley Avenue. The coach to child ratio at the pool is 1:3 for anyone who is required to stay in the shallow end or who is under 7 years old. We do our utmost to make sure your child is safe in the water.

Q. How do I know what my child will be doing during the week?

A. Every parent will receive a parent letter as well as a detailed schedule listing all of your child’s activities and events for each day. This information is handed out on Monday morning when you drop your child off for camp.
